Outside In Release 'Om' Official Video

01 May 2020 - 0 Comments

Tamaki Makaurau’s very own prog-rock 5-piece, Outside In, are proud to unveil the official video for their single Om, directed and written by Jonnie Barnard, Ashton Brown, and front-man Mikey Brown.

The clip offers up an ominous and curious aesthetic featuring puppetry by Ashton Brown, which intertwines perfectly with a track written about finding your place in the bigger picture.

Om is a song about seeing your own place in the cycles of life. Seeing your place as part of a chain, connected by past and connected to the future.

As I mention hearing the voice of my father and the voice of my son in the chorus, I thought it would be cool to have my dad and my son reading a quote during the bridge” - Mikey Brown

The track, which has gained over 22k plays since its release was the first from Outside In’s forthcoming album, Karmatrain, due for release May 29th, 2020.
