Daily J return with uplifting new single 'Skylah'

08 May 2020 - 0 Comments

Kiwi indie-psych four-piece Daily J are back with a catchy tune Skylah - the new single from their upcoming debut album, set to be released later this year.

Listen HERE

A light and uplifting indie-pop tune, Skylah is soaked in Daily J’s signature sound of catchy guitar and vocal hooks. Produced by Kiwi legend Joe Faris and mastered by Grammy-winning LA-based engineer Brian Lucey, Skylah is loosely based around a teenage fantasy and alludes to the bright sound and dreamworld theme of Daily J’s debut album.

Skylah comes on the back of a string of cracking singles from the Auckland-based band, including By The Sea, Left Me Like Summer and Black Lagoon, which combined have amassed close to a million streams on Spotify, with all tracks receiving radio play and support from Radio Hauraki.

The band was also kept busy over summer 2019/2020 with a nationwide headline tour and festival appearances.

Daily J are an act on the rise and Skylah is the perfect taster of what’s to come from these ‘three brothers and a drummer from another mother’.
