Regulator is a 3 piece rock band from the North Shore and West Auckland. Formed just over 6 months ago Regulator were finalists in the 2003 North Auckland Battle of the Bands despite no previous gigging experience. Since then they have played numerous gigs around Auckland City and the North Shore.

Regulator have also played live on the Good Morning Show. Each member brings with them their different musical tastes to the band including jazz, reggae, punk, hip hop and soul but all share a common passion for rock music most of all. Their live sets range from heavy rock to light funk but always maintain an intensity and steady flow.

Despite being together for such a short time they have become a tight rock'n'roll unit and have a steadily increasing amount of supporters at each gig. 2004 is promising to be a huge year for the band as they go into the studio to record a demo early in the year with the ultimate goal of being signed and able to record their debut album, which is already written.
