The Offbeats Touring Australia Posted: Wed Oct 30, 2002 5:45 pm Wellington ska legends The Offbeats are heading off for their second Australian tour in the near future. The eight-piece, formed in 1995, will be touring around Aussie from December 26 to January 12 with top Oz skameisters The Porkers. The tour includes at least 10 East Coast shows, and follows the band's successful 2000 jaunt over the ditch, which included gigs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The band are playing a number of shows before they leave, most notably the Punk As 2nd Birthday in Wellington and Palmerston North, as well as their own Xmas Party in the capital on December 20.
