Bio

From Rotorua, New Zealand, alayna has been an avid explorer of herself for years, and, though she’s just coming to terms with herself now, she realizes too, that she’ll be ever-changing, evolving, and unravelling.

A decade into her career, and after the release of her well-received two EP's Sweet Soul and Tender which accumulated 50,000,000 streams on Spotify alone, alayna released her debut album Self Portrait of a Woman Unravelling in July 2023.

This project chronicles her personal journey inward; a self exploration of her sorrows, her questions and her epiphanies all with the attempt to ask the question of the ages ‘Who am I?’.

Working with a banquet of some of Aotearoa's best producers (Noema Te Hau, Simon Gooding, Wells*, Levi Patel, Devin Abrams to name a few) alayna’s bravely honest and vulnerable songwriting combined with her spell-bounding voice makes her an artist truly living and creating in her own lane.
