Autumn Stone are a diverse alternative rock band from Wellington, New Zealand.

They have a sound, which can be described in a few simple words: beautiful, exciting and moving. Acoustic guitars, sweeping electric guitars, bizarre lyrics and raw emotion all add to the sound of Autumn Stone. With a strong emphasis on songwriting, expect to hear dynamic music with strong melody and harmony.

The band members share the same passion, writing and playing good music. They all started playing music during their school days and all share similar musical influences including Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Mogwai, Coldplay and Chingy to name a few.

Since they have been together, Autumn Stone have been busy writing more and more music, playing live, recording and practicing as much as they can, to become the best band they can possibly be.

The live show is something, which is very important to the band. As well as playing with energy and excitement, they are always looking for new ideas to capture an audience's attention and to create an atmosphere where the music itself is appreciated.

In 2003 Autumn Stone entered in the Wellington Song Writing Event winning the alternative/rock category and gaining overall runner's up. This got them recognition and boosted the band's confidence in their own songwriting abilities.

Autumn Stone look forward to new opportunities. Who knows what's to come?
