Ride With Me is the debut release from Lil Benjamonious, and it hits the ground running with some striking keyboards and smooth synth sounds, as well as an old school bicycle bell ringing in the background.
Capturing your attention from the very start, Lil Benjamonious takes a 'go large or go home' approach, making the bass stand out from all of the other musical arrangements. Ride With Me has a bouncy feel, with the tight mix and strong mastering complementing each other well.
The vocal rap styles are reminiscent of modern hip-hop of the late 2010's with auto tune present on the mic. The song gels well with the low key drums, percussion sounds and synths, and the vocals sound smooth. I have no doubt that this tune would sound massive in a car with subs; it truly comes across as being an instant dance tune and is Top40 or Mai FM worthy.
Lil Benjamonious has some great talent and potential, and this is only the beginning - he's definitely one to keep an eye on.
From the gentle streets of South Auckland, Lil Benjaminious is on a mission to get people out of cars and onto bikes. Save the planet. Be cool. Stay nice.
Watch out for the debut coming end of 2019.
