Miscreant call it a day

This from Miscreant:

To all our fans,

It is with great regret to announce that we have decided to go on indefinite hiatus. In the five or so years that we have been performing, we have met some truly amazing people, played at some stunning venues & amassed the most loyal & rocking fans a band could ever hope to have.

All of us still remain on very good terms with each other and we will no doubt continue to have a hand in each others musical endeavours in the future.

All of us have the intention of continuing to create music although this will no longer be as a collective.

We wanted to thank all of our friends, family, partners & most importantly our fans for continuing to support us over the years. We were the luckiest band in the world to have such a loyal fan base. Your love and support for our music was truly an inspiration & we owe you a great debt of gratitude.

Signing off,

The Miscreant Lads
Chris, Dave, Lazz, Damo & Nate

Posted: Wed Jul 2, 2008 8:35 pm
“Miscreant are scaling the local rock ranks as they launch their second crusade at radio, 'Fight For Me'. This single follows the self-released 'Hey Mister' which attained deserved airplay on both The Edge and The Rock. 'Fight For Me' is a shoot-from-the-hip rock track featuring commanding vocals from Singer Chris Davies. The group have been filling up ProTools hard-drives at Studio 203 and York St Studios with Producer Andrew Buckton, creating their debut album 'Complicated Characters'. With a busy time ahead of them, Miscreant plan a mid-month video release followed by swag of Auckland based shows”. New Zealand on Air, www.kiwihits.co.nz, July 2008.

miscreant Rock out live
Posted: Fri May 16, 2008 12:22 pm
Miscreant, Silly and Djinn rocked out at The Rock Factory in Auckland last weekend to help celebrate Scott Boswell's 30th bday, including an acoustic performance by Scott himself. It was a great night with solid performances all round! Sound and lighting was of course provided by The Rock Factory who did another top notch job.

Thanks Mark and Michelle!!

Miscreants ‘tight and catchy’ tunes and solid live performances have been taking the underground kiwi rock scene by storm preparing listeners for the release of their debut album ‘Complicated Characters’ due out very soon..

Yeeha Damian, you finally broke away from the Ninian prison camp. Good luck bro! Perhaps Heart O' Fifths and Nebula One could do a gig some day.
