Bio

The Sproutts are part of an emerging crop of excting indie bands to come from Wellington.

They give away melodies and harmonies like they are going out of fashion, which of course they are, but there seems to be an endless supply with this lot. Imagine putting all of your favourite animals into a washine machine (nicely balanced), setting it to 'fast spin', and then taking the lid off while it is at full speed. Of course, this is a metaphor for music, not an advertisement for animal cruelty, so to put it another way, the Sproutts are very fun and very exciting.

Instruments include Guitar, Drums, Violin Organ, Optical theremin, tin whistle. Recommended if you like Guided by Voices, The Brunettes, Dirty Three, Chris Knox.
