To be runner-up in the 2005 BRITS UK International Songwriting Contest is an outstanding achievement.

To repeat as a finalist in 2006 and then fill the runner-up spot again in 2007 is positively amazing. When you do it as an 8, 9 and 10 year old then something truly special is happening.

In New Zealand Angela Steele was a regular performer at Coca Cola Christmas in the Park Concerts (4 in total) and in 2008 was nominated for APRA's inaugural Children's Music Awards.

Angela was accepted into the Musical Theatre Program at the prestigious St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in the USA, graduating from the four year program in 2014 and winning the Triple Threat statewide High School Musical Best Actress Award. She has starred in several musicals since including Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, Footloose, Legally Blonde, Chicago, and Gypsy. Covid shut down Sweet Charity and Cinderella but post Covid Angela completed an exciting but grueling 12 month of Footloose at the Chanhassen Theatre Minneapolis. -updated 2023
