Bio

Joost is one of New Zealand's leading music producers. Having established himself as a fine bass player in the 1980's with bands such as Strawpeople, NRA, Nemesis Dub Systems amongst others Joost moved into music programming and production.

He formed succesfull downbeat outfit Unitone HiFi with Stinky Jim, moved to the USA and toured Europe in the 90's. Upon his return Joost became an active part of the Kog Transmissions collective, he still runs Kog's dance music label Reliable Recordings.

Joost releases music under a variety of monikers, to name a few: Subware, Mr. Reliable, ReactorMusic, BigPop, Sun Valley All Stars, triggerX, Wriggler and more.
