Daniel Munro is a talented young singer songwriter from Napier. His voice is pure, expressive and captivating, complemented by crisp, sweet acoustic guitar lines in a contemporary style to rival greats such as Cat Stevens, Don McLean and James Taylor.
Kicking off 2007 in fine form, Daniel opened for Eric Clapton at the yearly Mission Concert, acted as support for The Feelers and Goodnight Nurse at the Summer Hummer and even rolled out some Irish numbers at a St. Pat’s dinner for the Governer General.
Daniel’s down-to-earth songwriting ability, showcased by his debut album psychoanalyse has gathered a great response in Hawkes Bay and abroad, earning him appearances on TV1’s Good Morning Show, Classic Hits Radio station in Hawkes Bay and Wellington and great reviews including interviews and endorsements by Liz Barry.
Fueled with a promising selection of new songs, Daniel is currently looking towards his second album and first commercial radio release.
