Bio

Fallen Hero hail from the murky depths of Palmerston North's swampland and joined together in 2004 under the name of Without Decline consisting of members Daniel Mehlhopt (drums), Tony Blenkhiron (guitar), Daniel Martin (guitar), Aarron Shirrifs (bass) and Keir Scott (vocals).

Several line up and name changes brought the final version of Fallen Hero together in early 2006 with the addition of Jamie Baty (guitar), replacing Daniel after leaving to persue a sound engineering degree.

Fallen Hero are influenced by an array of metal/heavy acts such as Lamb of God, The Haunted and Unearth etc and have graced the stage with such great kiwi bands as Chuganaut, Take the Willing, Wrath, Agent and Cell.

Jamie left the band mid 2008 to persue his own band Cage Demise and
Fallen Hero remained as a 4 piece until they recruited guitarist Rich Naylor, long time friend and producer of the band.

The guys had a mutual split at the end of 2009, with Tony and Keir persuing their new project The Red Dawn, Aaron staying with bands Solfonic and The Rascal Kings and Rich persuing his long term project Root Of All Evil which also has collaborations with Keir.
