Hamilton, is a long way from the Appalachian mountains. But that brooding gothic folk sentiment is there, lurking in the shadows of The Gills' songs. Behind the jangling guitars and twinkling flutes lie tales of darker days, when men were sinners and women drowned for their indiscretions.
