Bio

Christchurch based Emeralds and Greenstone consists of Ariana Tikao (vocals, taoka puoro), Laura Tomlin (vocals, keyboard, wooden flute, Irish whistle), Argène Montgomery-Hönger (bodhràn, Irish whistle, percussion, ukelele) and Jon Hooker (guitars, ukelele).

2008 has been a big year for the band performing at: the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, Waipara Wine & Food Celebration, SummerTimes, Christchurch International Jazz & Blues Festival (Laura/Jon), Centre for New Zealand Studies in London (Ariana) World of Wearable Arts and Heritage Week at the Harbour Light Theatre.
