New Urban Tramper Album Posted: Wed Nov 11, 2009 3:35 pm URBAN TRAMPER RELEASE NEW ALBUM RISE AND RIDE TOWARD OUT NOW Wellington based Pop-folk band Urban Tramper are proud to announce the release of their fourth studio album Rise and Ride Toward. The beautifully presented twelve track disk features the new single My Grand Plan and the hilariously themed Olympic Theme 2012. Urban Tramper have been performing and recording for seven years. They have toured NZ extensively and have recently completed tours of Europe and the UK. Recent performances of note include National Radio's Music 101 live session, BFM Red Bull live to air session, the TVNZ “Good Morning Show” and their recent performance to 2000+ people at Wellington’s Summer Series outdoor concert series. The band has played such noted bands as Calexico, Cut Off Your Hands, So So Modern, Eileen Rose, Blitzen Trapper and more. They have previously released three albums to date To The Future On Foot (2004), The Treeninja Always Gets Through(2005) and Tokon & The Colours(2007). Their new album Rise And Ride Toward was released November 9th. They are favourites on student/alternative radio in New Zealand and Europe, with singles regularly entering the National Alt charts. Urban Tramper recently embarked on an extensive National tour in October/November and are set to tour North America and Europe and the UK in May/June 2010.
