THE FLAMING DRIVERS..created after an accidental collision between 3 restless Hard Rocking Punks.

Surviving the wreckage, they've become one hell of a ride...to the pits of Rock, Punk and Attitude!!

Performing over 40 shows throughout the past year, THE FLAMING DRIVERS are proving to be a promising and exciting live act on the Hard Rock Scene.

Since early 2009, Mauricio Ackermann (Vox/Gat), Joel Rowlands (Drums), and Glen Balfour (Bass) have been ripping up the highways and performing their own unique style of hard hitting, Groove Laden Punk Rock to a solid fan base throughout New Zealand.

Making good friends along the way, Queenstown based THE FLAMING DRIVERS have played alongside many top kiwi bands including The Tutts, The Outsiders, Hangman, Left Or Right, and more recently, playing support for Top International Punk Rock giants Strung Out. (USA)

THE FLAMING DRIVERS have been described as Hard Rocking Punk with a big hit of Grunge, Classic Rock and Metal...creating one tasty Rocket Fuel that drives their exciting live shows.

In recent achievements earlier this year, the band were partly responsible for helping raise over $8000 for the victims of the Haiti Earthquake.

With a current DEMO recording consisting of 9 songs, (available via amlifier.co.nz) THE FLAMING DRIVERS are now back in the studio polishing off the finer points of their debut album.
