Since 2003 Dane Rumble has had a long list of defining achievements including 3 top 10 hits with his band Fast Crew, and a platinum selling album, that was well recieved both here and Australia. He has won awards for their creative videos and recieved many award nominations in both territories. Dane has toured both NZ and Australia extensively and has opened for many international artists including, Black Eyed Peas, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliot, D12 and Common. He has also performed alongside some greats on the Australian Big Day Out tour, including The White Stripes, Iggy Pop, Wolfmother and Franz Ferdinand.
Since the departure of former producer of Fast Crew in 2007, Dane has become more involved in producing and the business side of the music industry which eventually led him to setting up his label Rumble Music. The new focus quickly took his songwriting and producing to another level.
Early 2009 he released his first single Always Be Here which generated a huge buzz and led to Dane signing a deal with Warner Music. Always Be Here stayed in the top 20 for 16 weeks, and reached the top of the Charts on both Itunes and Radioscope and recieved huge Airplay on Nationwide radio. The video has had over 80,000 views on YouTube, and the single has been featured on numerous broadcasts and TV shows.
Dane's follow-up single Don't Know What To Do, was recieved well on radio and secured him a nationwide Radio tour with the help of NZ on Air. The polished video was an instant hit on C4, Juice and MTV, and it entered the NZ top 40 Charts with plenty of momentum. Dane also featured on NZ's Telethon performing an Acoustic version of the single to help raise money for KidsCan.
He released his debut album The Experiment in 2010.
