Rising Force

Bio

Rising Force are a 4 piece Melodic Shred Metal band from Wellington, New Zealand.

2009 - Formed by Bachelor Degree students of Whitireia School of Music. Combining each individuals influences to form an electrifying sound Rising Force pay respects to classical greats such as Vivaldi, Bach, Nicolo Paganini and deliver their brand of heavy metal: EPIC, TECHNICAL, THUNDEROUS, MELODIC, FAST!

2010 & 2011 - Rising Force performed all over the lower half of the north island with international acts on tour as well as many respected bands from NZ. Several demos were recorded and Rising Force received regular airplay on 'The Rock' radio station.

2012 has welcomed a new vocalist Julia Soares to the lineup and this time a change with having a female front the band instead of a male.

Rising Force disbanded in May 2013.
