Mile High were a 5-piece rock band from Auckland with an upbeat rock sound fused with catchy tunes and vocal melodies. Catching the lively energy of hits by bands like the Foo Fighters along with a toe tapping sound, Mile High made an effort to keep their audience entertained with high energy performances, that left their listeners wanting more.
Their debut single Now was released in April 2009 and went on to score airplay on The Rock, Kiwi FM, C4 and The Zone FM. Following this success, Mile High performed at The 2010 Big Day Out, TV3's Sunrise, The Big Night In Telethon as well as The Bog Band Fest in Christchurch with The Midnight Youth and Dane Rumble.
The band was a top 20 finalist in MTV's 42 Unheard competition as well as The Jim Beam Homegrown Band Search.
