From, Palmerston North, comes a Death, Melodic, Heavy Metal, Rock all round punishing monster sound, that has yet to be reconised.

Right from the start the idea has been to write music with no limits or boundaries, to always play what feels right to us. Not what is expected of a certain genre. With this in mind Craig and Jonny set about writing a devastating array of songs, always heavy but also rich in melody and groove.

Six months on with almost a dozen songs in hand Bloodworx was ready to be born. Lyrically Bloodworx covers everything from social and religious, to more comedic and cryptic lyrics that can be taken in many ways depending on the listener. Musically the material is original, punishing and undeniably catchy which defines Bloodworx overall sound. And focus has been put on lead guitar Melodic twin harmonies, and powerful catchy vocals.

Now with the band completed by extreme vocalist Mike Smith and power house drummer Jason Rakena, Bloodworx are ready to be heard. In the few months Bloodworx have done half a dozen gigs with consistently possitive results and feed back from metal and non metal fans. Our last conquest was Battle of the bands, a great experience that got us to the Wellington regional finals, Although they were obviously they were looking for something more commercial. We had overwhelming crowd reaction and comments, having the crowd chanting Bloodworx right until the last band of the night.
