Chatchy

Bio

It’s been two whole years since friends Hamish, Gabe and Anthony put together the core unit that would become Chatchy, an act that has become a smash hit among kiwi music aficionados, pub goers, dance lovers, and beach dwellers all over the country, and undeniably world famous in Hamilton. The seven piece collective has been playing hard ever since, living the rock and roll ideal and working to bring their unique sound, unpredictable live shows, and summery vibes to anyone that is willing to experience it.

Chatchy’s debut release “Nightlife EP” is available now as a digital download and physical EP, and will soon be available in retail outlets across New Zealand. The EP features a five track express tour of the range and energy of the Chatchy machine - a genre spanning, van shaking ride that soars between grooving summer sounds, acoustic harmonies, dance floor anthems, and skank-worthy dub. The Nightlife EP features their first single “Running Away”.
