Alpha Coda is a hard hitting 4 piece rock band formed in Hamilton, NZ in 2014.

With front man Rob Murphy on vocals and guitar Aleks Skomski (Dimples) on guitar and backing vocals Dave Riddell (Gravy) thrashing the bass and the drummer only known as Kicker.

The music is influenced by the dozens of bands we spin. Tool, Rage Against The Machine, Shihad, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins; the list goes on and the sound is uniquely like none of them and all of them at once.

Alpha Coda began over beers and has since slowly started gaining traction in the Hamilton music scene. " The goal is to rock ya socks off and have fun doing it, hopefully fame is a by-product", laughs Aleks.
