With his funky guitar style and soulful verses, Watson Tuhua is an uplifting experience both live and recorded. WATSON is producing original catchy tunes to accompany a unique yet universal expression of life.

With humble beginnings and an appreciation for soulful music, Watson grew up in the lower social areas of Hamilton New Zealand. Where any form of "escape", was a means of growth, both mentally and imaginatively. Giving Watson the ability to hear grooves and hooks in his head before he was able to play them on an instrument. developing his guitaring skills later in life, his unorthodox finger slap style of grooves became part of his signature, giving him the ability to jam along with almost anyone.

In any circumstance or setting, Watson delivers a performance that has you captivated from beginning to end. with influences such as Dave Dobbyn and Ben Harper, you will understand what groove is when you hear him play.
