Jazz Vidamo is a 15-year-old New Zealand classical singer (of Filipino descent), thespian and model.
She is also known as the 'Opera princess' for her powerful performances of Arias and classical Cross overs.
Recently, she was recognised as one of the 2023 Kiwibank Local Heroes by the New Zealander of the Year Awards. She also received the 2023 Gifted Learner Award from the Ministry of Education NZ. She was also named as one of the Top 100 Global child prodigies in the world for her singing.
Last year she won the Arts and Culture Award 2021 from GirlBoss New Zealand and also received the Hero Awardee from the Filipino NZ Music awards.
In December 2023, she performed at the Coca-Cola Christmas in the park in Auckland where she sang a duet O Come All Ye Faithful with Vince Harder and the Pacific Gospel choir.
She was a guest performer for Sol3 Mio's Spark Arena concert March 30,2021 and got a standing ovation when she sang a duet of Nessun Dorma with Pene and Amitai Pati.
She represented NZ at the World Championships of Performing Arts twice. In 2020 and 2019 where she won 2 gold and 4 silver medals.
Jazz was also the winner of the 2019 Little singer for Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and New Zealand Opera for the APO 4 kids Christmas concert.
She has released 3 singles entitled Chanson de Florian, All Is Found and Ain't No Mountain High on all major digital platforms available for streaming.
