Bio

Swerve City is an alternative rock band from Auckland, New Zealand, known for their tight rhythms, ferocious melodic vocals, and transcendent lead guitars. Drawing influences from alt-rock, post-grunge, modern metalcore, and progressive metal, their sound is both dynamic and deeply emotive.

The debut EP, Over Oceans, released on October 11, is a pivotal milestone for the band. Featuring a blend of heavy riffs and emotional depth, the EP captures the essence of their journey, marking the end of one chapter and the start of another. Songs like Avalanche showcase their ability to weave raw emotion with powerful instrumentation, offering listeners a cathartic and unforgettable experience.

Swerve City has earned spots on the NZ Official Charts and the Radioscope Top 40 Rock Charts, with their tracks receiving airplay on leading radio stations in New Zealand and internationally.
