Miho’s Jazz Orchestra (MJO) is a dynamic new generation instrumental ensemble based in Auckland. The group was formed in 2011 and since then they have been busy performing at festivals, concert series, jazz venues and corporate events around New Zealand as well as touring in Japan and Australia.
They have released six albums and three of which have clinched positions in the official NZ Album Chart Top 20 for several weeks each, including Bumpy Road (2015) which reached Top 10.
Described as one of the most entertaining jazz acts in New Zealand, Miho’s Jazz Orchestra strives to uplift audiences through their positive energy and feel-good music. From fun-filled groovy tunes to nostalgic melancholy melodies, MJO seamlessly blends stylish contemporary jazz with their unique pan-pacific flavour.
