Rezwan Ashraf is best known for being the Brand Ambassador of Nestle, Bangladesh, after he was awarded the best Guitar Player in the country in 2012 following the nationwide talent hunt, Nescafe Get Set Rock. The talent hunt competition focused on finding the best Rock musicians in the country and forming a notable Rock act. The result of the competition was his band S.I.X.

The band toured the nation performing in countless gigs and served as ambassadors of the international brand Nestle.

Rezwan has performed in all the TV and Radio stations with both his bands and with other popular artists in the country.

Prior to this achievement, he has been part of the pioneering Nu-Metal band in Bangladesh called Shrapnel Method. The band is famous for releasing notable Metal hits in the country.

Rezwan is also quite known for performing in sessions with multiple artists in studios.

Both his bands are signed under a major Record Label in Bangladesh called G-Series. However, as a solo artist, Rezwan is still unsigned.

Currently, he resides in New Zealand as an active musician, performing in the local scene every now and then. His primary target now, is to focus on his solo career as a guitar player with his Oceans Apart project.

The Oceans Apart is a collaboration project featuring Grammy winning artists such as Scott Cannady and other notable musicians around the world. The project's primary purpose is to collaborate with artists with the help of the digital and social media to produce good music without even coming face-to-face.

There is a lot of struggle in having such a dream, there are obstacles with communication and the reality of time zones etc. That being said, the project also focuses on building friendship and collaboration among artists globally.

The result of this collaboration can be seen with the initial release of his first guitar instrumental Oceans Apart - which basically established the theme of the project, where musicians can come together to make good music even if they are oceans and miles apart from each other.
