They're crispy, they're tender and they're fragrant!

Diehards of Deep Dish are a 5 sliced contingent of pizza and party lovers dedicated to worshipping the slice with gut-punching riffs and pizza-laden groove.

The band is Ashley McKinley, Ryley Hall, Michael Bradford, Matt Gibson, and Rik Gainsford, or better known as, respectively,

Cheese (Joey Provolone)
Tomato (Ryley Base)
Wheat (Beef Richards)
Mushrooms (Mattzarella Gibson)
Herbs (Herbie Handcooked)

Diehards have been playing together for 8 years, their first gig was the infamous Burning Wang Festival of 2013 and Your Enabler ensured they stay together and an eventually record an album by booking them regularly for annual festivals such as Woodcock, Not-Woodcock and Loserpalooza.

They have also supported Cosmic Psychos (Aus), Nervous Jerk (Chch) and local legends Threat.Meet.Protocol and Grown Downz in the Tauranga scene.

Traditional Speciality Guaranteed, fresh from the oak-fired oven, was released on September 21, 2021, and both mixed and mastered at the prestigious Studio 11B in Mount Maunganui by head engineer and fellow deep-dish enthusiast Evan Pope.
