Bio

Sodalight is a Wellington-based up-and-coming band. The band was formed in mid-2022. The band members come from diverse cultural backgrounds and grew up listening to a variety of music, which they are utilising as a strength in the songwriting process. After being close friends for a year and sharing common influences like Tame Impala, Coldplay, The 1975, and Arctic Monkeys, they decided to form a band. Despite being one of Wellington's newest bands, they have already performed at local venues such as Meow and San Fran, receiving positive feedback and energy from the audience. They enjoy music that conveys emotion and hope to create similar music themselves.
