Crimson Layne first embarked on their musical voyage of discovery together after band founder Lead Vocalist Rania Layne met Lead Guitar and Co-Writer Glenn Yate (of The Frantik) in Auckland in 2021. But their origin goes back earlier to when the band members grew up listening to a variety of musical genres that played an influential role in shaping their paths as musicians and ultimately led them to join forces.

In 2022, Jake Single (on drums) and Nikolas Bryon-Carr (bass) joined Crimson Layne taking the band to Four.

?Rania Layne (New Zealand born and bred) has Kiwi music in her DNA and developed her soulful sassy style through her decades of musical and real life adventures. Their signature sound offers something different and unique to their fans by creating and sharing original music that is unmistakably their flavour.
