Spencer Coyle

Bio

As word of mouth traveled, Spencer Coyle’s demos would end up in the right hands and the rest was history. Discovered by industry legend Six60’s Ji Fraser and signed to Massive Records, Spencer Coyle has seriously become one to keep an eye on. Spencer began writing songs on an acoustic guitar but has since taught himself how to produce his own music, allowing him to combine his own lyrics and production to create self-made demos.

At just 18, an invitation to Six60’s Auckland studio in 2021 saw the songwriter strike a chord with Fraser and together, the pair wrote debut single Somebody To Love in the final moments of a writing session. Following on from the release, Spencer Coyle joined forces with New Zealand pop royalty Drax Project and recorded hit single Castaway; a project inspired by on-going lockdowns and the desire to get away from it all.

Since his 2022 debut, Spencer has gained 250K WW streams and 80K YouTube views. 2023 saw Coyle join Aotearoa icon Mitch James on his 13-date nationwide ‘The Long Road Home’ tour where he connected with die-hard fans. The young artist continues to pave his path as one of New Zealand’s brightest stars on the rise with the backing and mentorship of industry heavy-weights.
