Shaky Hollows formed in early 2022 under the guidance of songwriter Casey Hilder.
Playing traditional string instruments with modern songwriting sensibilities, they create a wistful alt country Americana sound in the vein of the Devil Makes Three and Justin Townes Earle.

In their relatively short time together they have played a multitude of shows around Dunedin and at the Catlins Niagara Falls Bluegrass festival alongside The Eastern (Chch). They have opened for international acts The Sassafras Band (Nth Carolina) and Jenny Don’t & The Spurs (Portland OR). They have an album worth of original material ready to record.
