Crooked Finger is an indie-pop, four-piece band, based in the Bay of Plenty. They also cover a lot of genres from reggae, to medium rock. The theme of the song seems to give the song the genre. Angry and it's rock, happy is reggae, sad is ballad or pop. They have overtones of 90's Massive attack and New order.

Named Crooked Finger after Patrick Gibbons who played keys on earlier songs. He has quite deformed hands from severe arthritis. They love to use his fingers in videos to demonstrate crooked behaviours or fun naughtiness.
