Bio

Amelia Power is a Singer/Songwriter from the top of the South Island of New Zealand, with soulful influences of pop, acoustic and indie genres, her music is free flowing and emotive. Her care-free, breathy and smooth vocal alongside a summer feel is a reminder to not take life to seriously, roll down the car windows and see where the wind may take you along the way. Having being born and raised in beautiful Aotearoa and fortunate enough to have traveled to many different countries all over the world, Amelia’s music is all about expressing and encapsulating the feelings of the experiences we all go through, whether they be the highs or the lows we regularly face on this journey we call life.

Having spent some time in the UK last year, she had the opportunity to perform at the Chatham Maritime festival and do some performances accompanied by her uncle Brendan Power on the Harmonica, Amelia plans on lots more gigs to come this year and putting herself out there as a New Zealand artist!

Amelia’s debut single Paradigm, released in January 2024, is all about overcoming personal hardship we may face in our lives and letting go of what no longer serves us in order to find personal peace and freedom on the other side. Paradigm was self recorded and enhanced at Hummingbird Recording Studio in Nelson with top Producer/Singer/Songwriter Bryce Wastney. It is available on all the major streaming platforms including Spotify.
