The Audio Visual Drop Kicks are an Otepoti-based alternative indie rock outfit with an affinity for energetic performances. Kicking off with a bang, the ‘Kicks released their debut EP Greenhouse in 2023, following it up with three singles in 2024. They are currently recording their debut album Betterland.

Over the past two years, the ‘Kicks have established themselves as a passionate and involved band in the Otepoti scene, playing at Ori’ 2024, Hyde Street Party 2023, and coming second in Bring The Noise 2023. They were delighted to open for New Zealand legends Dartz (in Dunedin) and Hans Pucket (in Dunedin and Queenstown).
