Missing Teeth. Never head of these four fine, upstanding young individuals? That's probably because they don't want you to, but make no mistake if you're anywhere near one of their shows you'll be able to smell or hear something god-awful, which you may find yourself drawn too like so many rats who pack out venues across the country time and time again. Heroes of the underground? Quite possibly, but more likely just four mates making fast music. Why? Well what else is there to do between drinking, gambling and football?
Missing Teeth provide New Zealand with a refreshing energetic take on punk rock and relentless live shows, support slots with Boston's Dropkick Murphys (Epitaph Records), Florida's emo kings Hot Water Music (Epitaph Records), headlining Auckland's Unity Fest, Wellington's Punkfest, apperances in Real Groove, and even getting their ugly mugs on TV several times.
Band Members:
Seamus McLoud (vocals)
Kolya DeReiger (guitar)
Dean Judd (bass)
David Hine (drums)

Missing Teeth Final Show Posted: Sat Aug 30, 2008 4:09 pm This from punkas.com: Well, this is pretty shitty news. After very nearly a full decade together, arguably the greatest punk band in the country is called it quits. Auckland's Missing Teeth will leave behind a legacy that does not include just the music, but also various other bands, the Puppykiller Records label and recording setup 'The Dank', all of which have been prolific over the years. Naturally, the 'Teeth are going out with a bang and one final hometown show at the King's Arms: Saturday, September 13 - King's Arms Tavern, Auckland (w/Cobra Khan, Shitripper + more) [R18] Tickets will be $15 on the door - or to save a bit of cash you can buy them for a bargain $10 from September 1 at Real Groovy in Auckland and online from UnderTheRadar.co.nz. |

Missing Teeth : Disaster EP Posted: Thu Jun 5, 2003 9:17 am Thanks to 1157 Records for the following: Missing Teeth. Never head of these four fine, upstanding young individuals? That's probably because they don't want you to, but make no mistake if you're anywhere near one of their shows you'll be able to smell or hear something god-awful, which you may find yourself drawn too like so many rats who pack out venues across the country time and time again. You could say it's been a busy year for the ever-hard working West Auckland foursome. But you wouldn't know it. Nine tracks of mayhem 'The Disaster EP' recorded in their own filth/studio (aptly named 'The Dank') will see the lad's embarking on a road trip across the 'land of the long white cloud, of chaos' - as long as there's beer and a football field Missing Teeth will be there. Oh, can they please borrow your bass amp? Catch Missing Teeth on 28 June @ Indigo - full details on the muzic.net.nz gig guide. You can pick up 'The Disaster EP' from In Music, and all good record stores. More Info: [email protected] Dean Cameron 1157 Records PO Box 5138 Wellesley Street Auckland Ph: (021) 295 3625 |
