SplintA was originally formed by 2 brothers wanting to put a band together. That was over 3 years ago, and since then the band has gone through a couple of line up changes. One of the original brothers still remains.

SplintA is a 4 piece covers band. There is a wealth of musical experience with each member having at least 10 years experience in working bands.

SplintA's purpose is to go out there and become the people's cover band playing the songs our audience know and love. We cover a wide range of music from the fairly old to the fairly recent, developing our set as we go. We encourage feedback from the audience and do our best to keep everyone happy - check out our set-list on site. If there is a song you want us to play just let us know and we'll do something about it.

So far SplintA has been playing live since late October last year starting off in East Auckland we have come to settle near the inner city, with a regular spot at Parnell's No 1 Irish Bar - The Bog. Playing almost every Saturday night SplintA intend to make a mark on the inner city covers scene.

They are available for private functions that can be booked through the site.
