The new album from Nga Kete Aronui, Challenge The New Dawn was two years in the making, and has been a labour of love. Covid could not restrict the passion.

Nga Kete Aronui had for these waiata, and through the turbulence of the times, they were able to prevail and deliver a very important project. This one focuses on the voice of the Rangatahi, specifically delving into their own struggles, addressing them all from their own unique perspective. This third project release encourages young people to embrace change and to take each day in their stride and push forward, as our Tīpuna did. Their ability to challenge the new dawn inspired us to do the same.
