The Diary of a Fruit Loop is Elleio’s debut EP being released in both English and French. The English version is being released on Friday 22nd July and the French version Le Journal d’une Fruit Loop is being released on Friday 5th August.
Following the release of her first and second singles Upbeat and Play Pretend, Elleio took time to finesse her catalogue before its release. “It’s a dangerous road to go down as the more you learn, the more you want to change or correct what you’ve created! A wise lady once told me ‘if you don’t decide your songs are complete, they never will be’ so I guess I’ve finally decided they are!”
The Diary of a Fruit Loop contains 4 Tracks:
• Upbeat
• Leo
• Play Pretend
• Loopy Lullaby
"I’m releasing Leo just in time to kick start Leo season, it’s dedicated to all the Leo boys out there."
Growing up between her Tongan and French families, Elleio (Ella Glannaz) has always wanted to make a compilation of songs available in both English and French and she saw this debut EP as her chance to do so. "Translating these songs was much harder than I anticipated, but it was completely worth it and I had so much fun singing in both English and French!"
Teaming up with Alex Maggs who mixed and mastered the tracks and collaborations with various musicians including Keith Aaron, Alex Hoare, Robbie Pattinson and Rupert McRae, Ella surrounded herself with a team that made her vision come to life.
The Diary of A Fruit Loop EP will be available on all digital streaming platforms on Friday the 22nd July.
