Independent Music NZ (IMNZ) have today announced the 12 outstanding New Zealand acts that will be showcasing for visiting international music industry, fans and the public in Tāmaki Makaurau/Auckland on Saturday, 3rd September 2022.
Open to the public, tickets for the Going Global Presents Showcase are on sale now via UTR.
IMNZ General Manager, Dylan Pellett says, “The selection team had their work cut out for them, from a large pool of applications we have twelve fresh, young talents that we are very excited to present - 12 bands for $20 across three venues, it’s gonna be a ripper night!”
The 12 Artists are; Aidan Fine, Ashy, Dartz, Emma Dilemma, Georgia Lines, Heavy Chest, IA, Jazmine Mary, Neive Strang, Proteins of Magic, Rei and Who Shot Scott.
Going Global Music Summit announces nine new speakers working in the international music space that will deliver the latest on how to get ahead in international pathways, and advancing ideas in an ever-changing music business landscape. The new speakers join previously announced keynote speaker Che Pope, whose career has seen him collaborate with legendary and visionary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Carlos Santana, Destiny’s Child, Lauryn Hill, Dr. Dre, the Weeknd, Diddy, Kanye West and many more.
From Music Supervisors, who put songs in TV and Film, Bookers; who sign artists to their roster and organise their tours, Programmers; who select artist line ups for festivals, showcases , Music Media and Music Services; a range of services from exporting, music rights and social media platforms.
