With a fierce and heartfelt story of anxiously waiting for love, built on a foundation of tender melodic guitar, and a cascading waterfall rhythm, Love Don’t Keep Me Waiting has an emotional and empathetic message that is widely relatable. Without a doubt, Love Don’t Keep Me Waiting would strike a familiar and often tender chord with radio listeners, as it does when being performed live.
“Our audience and fans always connect the most with Love Don’t Keep Me Waiting live, and we’ve had an incredible amount of people tell us it’s their favourite song of ours” says lead singer Henry Ashby. “It comes from a place of real heartbreak and anxiety for me, I honestly was scared to release it originally. No song has made me feel more special, or more connected to our audience”
With their fans adoration of the track and its obvious popularity, SKRAM were compelled to further explore Love Don’t Keep Me Waiting. After a well-received acoustic version on the recently released Skramily Dinner EP, the Love Don’t Keep Me Waiting EP is set to take the listener on a journey through a collection of different aspects of the song. This release features a Radio edit, and three remixes, an electro pop remix by Jan, a dark, anguished remix by Auckland DJ Waja, and a jaunty journey remix by Kremix.
SKRAM consists of Henry Ashby, Felix Nesbitt, Lee Pryor, Tane Butler and Conall Ryan. With a combination of emphatic vocals, dynamic rhythms and memorable melodies, Skram brings crowd-pleasing energy to the stage and their music. Having had a successful debut album release in their first year, and sold out tour shows, with an exciting festival laden summer ahead - you definitely want to stay up-to-date with SKRAM!
