Band & Musician News - Lisi Releases 'Male It Out'

Lisi Releases 'Male It Out'

28 November 2022 - 0 Comments

Lisi shares thoughts of gratitude for his success so far and his wishes for his Samoan brothers to follow suit and thrive in their chosen passions on new track Make It Out.

Celebrating his Samoan roots and adding another layer of meaning to Make It Out, Lisi shot the official music video in Samoa. This was significant as his grandparents migrated from Samoa to Australia & NZ to in search of opportunities and providing a better future for their family, while never forgetting where they came from. Their identity, proud Samoans.

Since bursting onto the scene with his Gold-accredited single Say Less in 2019, Lisi has become one of the most omnipresent forces in Australasian hip-hop. With a focus on intricate storytelling and personal lyricism, Lisi's music delves into everyday life in the 4300 and the real issues faced by his people, evidenced by his widely praised Average Man EP in 2020, and his debut album Perspective released in 2021.
