Band & Musician News - Taranaki Trio The Doublejumps Release Second Single/Music Video 'The Garden'

Taranaki Trio The Doublejumps Release Second Single/Music Video 'The Garden'

02 December 2022 - 0 Comments

Taranaki guitar pop trio The Doublejumps second single and accompanying music video are out now.

A warped impression of the Andrews Sisters at a beachside samba. Featuring lush, floral beds of vocal harmony woven between subtle latin grooves, The Doublejumps tow the line between natural and surreal with their latest single The Garden. The song also includes a friend of the band, Jack Moser, providing an elegant keyboard performance. Accompanying the new single is a fresh, new music video filmed by bassist/vocalist Olivia Day's brother Amiel Day.

"Born in a flash of inspiration. A song about becoming too comfortable and how we let ourselves fixate on frivolous things that don't really matter in the long run." - Kayleb Duckett (Vocals/Guitar)
