Swelling with rich guitar and vocal layering, Keira Wallace’s April creates a spacious yet warm embrace that captures the comfort of unfaltering support from loved ones. Deeply sentimental lyrics describe a relationship where despite inevitable human imperfection, they give their absolute devotion to be present in every aspect of their life - the light and dark. Continuing from Keira’s previous single, this song portrays reaching a state of comfort and acceptance and also draws their recording journey with producer Molly Devine to a fulfilling close.
Known for their overtones of warmth and metaphorical vulnerability, Keira Wallace holds a cocooning yet spacious feel in their music and sentimental lyrics that easily connect with listeners. Keira recently took part in APRA AMCOS Songhubs Ōtepoti where they collaborated with incredible New Zealand artists and producers and allowed structure, instrumentation, and texture to flow where the song steered. With a swelling musical future ahead, Keira further explores the crevasses of their beautifully expanding sound with each release.
