M.I.R.K’s new single is about his reflection on where he is and where he wants to be. He hails from Northland, and has lived in South Auckland these last few years. He faced many challenges growing up, which he has embraced and is choosing to move forward.

His music has opened doors for him, to learn more about himself and discover what he values. He is finding his ‘voice’ to share openly and honestly of what he has learnt.

Music has given him a platform to express his feelings, face life and move positively on. And as the words of his song says “I’m on my way I’m on my grind and I’m gonna shine I promise now that I’m gonna make it“.

‘M.I.R.K has created his own unique sound and continues to progress in the process. The words he wrote says it better than anyone could .. “You see I can’t wait I can’t wait for that day it’s time to elevate from a shed to a stage side walk with that street code back in the day to up on a pic post I ain’t talk fake and I’ve distanced myself I smile and wave I’m focused on my style to recreate a new living new beginning all coming with time I said it once before but you gonna see me shine and that’s promise I ain’t gonna give up.. come to 'I know my worth”!!
