BRING ME THE HORIZON –THERE IS A HELL, BELIEVE ME I’VE SEEN IT. THERE IS A HEAVEN, LET’S KEEP IT A SECRET

Bring Me The Horizon is defining the sound of modern metal as we know it with their urgently dark, epic new album, “There Is A Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is A Heaven, Let’s Keep It A Secret”.  The team at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden were again at the helm of the recording, this time bringing in electronic and programming authority KC Blitz to assist with the instrumental aspects of the album. The album also includes appearances from various special guests, including Josh Franceschi of You Me At Six, Josh Scogin of The Chariot and Canadian electro-pop starlet LIGHTS.  The first single from the album “It Never Ends” has been greeted with universal praise from fans who have not only snapped up the single on iTunes but have streamed the clip 1,228,159 times in just a month!

KERRANG! 5/5 “dynamic, exhilarating and quite unlike anything else out there right now“Completely and utterly stunning”“establishes BMTH as one of the UK’s finest metal bands”

Rock Sound – 9/10 “by far the most accomplished record BMTH have produced to date, unburdened by preconceptions and allowing for an element of genuine surprise. ‘There Is A Hell…’ is the sound of a remarkable band establishing themselves as one of the finest of their generation.

For Fans of: Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Avenged Sevenfold

ROOTS MANUVA MEETS WRONG TOM – DUPPY WRITER

Wrong Tom with moral support from Mr Manuva, has turned in an album which covers all four of Roots Manuva’s main albums, plus tracks from “Dub Come Save Me” and “Alternately Deep” and a brand new collaboration with Ricky Ranking on lead single “Jah Warriors”. Tom decided to re-imagine each track as if his re-work was in fact the original version of the tune from a previous decade and the project is approached with such conviction and skill that many of the tunes become hard to place in their original context.

VARIOUS ARTISTS – CHAMPS-ELYSESS CAFÉ PARIS

The Champs-Élysées is a prestigious avenue in Paris, France. The name is French for Elysian Fields, the place of the blessed dead in Greek mythology. The Avenue des Champs-Élysées is known in France as La plus belle avenue du monde ("The most beautiful avenue in the world"). Now with this two CD set we welcome you to the most dazzling and glamorous party at the Champs Elysees Cafe! The mix features an elegant array of lounge music including tracks from Emilie Simon, Gotan Project, Nouvelle Vague, Sebastien Tellier, Dimitri From Paris, Kid Loco and many more.

For Fans of: Saint Germain Des-Pres Cafe, Hotel Costes, Dimitri From Paris

GONJASUFI – THE CALIPH’S TEA PARTY

Like the Caliphs of the Ummahs of the 7th century, orchestrating affairs from their palaces, Gonjasufi has assembled a collection of artists in his musical world and invited them to exchange ideas.  In this spirit, the symbolic and musical centerpiece of the album, as well as its namesake, is the result of the mutual admiration formed between Gonjasufi and Broadcast and The Focus Group. Elsewhere, reinterpretations from new talents shine while established artists continue to surprise. Mark Pritchard, young guns Shlomo and Jeremiah Jae, Bibio and Brooklyn’s Bear In Heaven all weigh in with their own remixes.

For Fans of: Flying Lotus, Bibio, Mark Pritchard

THE ACORN – NO GHOST

Swathed in Talk Talk-esque spaciousness and atmospheric feedback reminiscent of early Yo La Tengo, “No Ghost” is a fitting soundtrack to both the tranquility of the country, and the sodium-lamp lit romance of city nights. The Ottawa-based band have toured Europe and North America extensively and been selected for the long-list of both the Polaris Music Prize and the Uncut Music Award. Greatly respected by their peers, The Acorn embarked on a number of high-profile support tours in early 2009 with the likes of Fleet Foxes, Bon Iver, Calexico and Elbow.

For Fans of: Beirut, Fleet Foxes, Arcade Fire

BANNER PILOT – RESIGNATION DAY

Banner Pilot is a young punk rock quartet from Minneapolis that formed in 2005 and used to jokingly describe their band as if Jawbreaker, The Lawrence Arms, and Alkaline Trio got in a knife fight and Jawbreaker won… but just barely. Hell, that’s actually a pretty good description! Unhappy with the original sound quality of “Resignation Day” the band decided to remix and remaster this gem, finally bringing the sound quality up to par with songwriting and musicianship. If that weren’t enough they threw in two bonus tracks to sweeten the deal.

For Fans of: The Gaslight Anthem, Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker
