ME FIRST AND THE GIMME GIMMES – GO DOWN UNDER
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are a cover band. Sure, they are also a punk rock super group, featuring members of Nofx, Swingin’ Utters, Lagwagon and No Use For a Name, but they don’t play original songs.
Covering songs from Inxs, Air Supply, The Easy Beats, Olivia Newton John and Rick Springfield, this mini album showcases the band covering an all Australian line up. Put this into some sort of context, it’s really a bit of fun. If you’re into Fat Wreck and Me First.. this will automatically be on your shopping list.

THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM – AMERICAN SLANG (TOUR EDITION)
The 3rd album they’ve released see them following a slightly different path to previous releases, influenced on this record by bands such as the Rolling Stones, Blues Breakers, Eric Clapton and Derek and the Dominoes.
But the Gaslight Anthem are not a band simply awash in nostalgia; their songs are about the very concept of nostalgia. And most importantly, they understand that nostalgia is not a lens through which we fondly reminiscence about the past, but a gauge by which we evaluate our troubled present. Attach acoustic versions and a couple of rare 7” only tracks from previous releases and you have yourself a pretty excellent limited edition bonus disc, result!

DIED PRETTY – FREE DIRT
Way back in the mid eighties alot of people held these guys in the highest esteem. I've gotta admit that this disc still sounds mighty fine, Peno's vocals combined with the guitar coming out of Brett Myer's hands sets this record into classic status.
This was the bands first album after a couple of ep's and singles and alot of people expected the band to become very popular after this album was released, which they were in continental Europe. Their following releases were much more poppy.
