Booga Beazley's take on the Glory, Glory shoot filmed by Red Yeti with many goats thrown to NZ On Air for their assistance:
“We shot Glory in a defunct church with actors that donated their time and a grimy collection of ever-faithful Head Like A Hole fans. There was a sense of irony from the start – with the band smothered in heavy preacher’s robes and the somewhat unnatural religious surroundings – it enabled the plot to easily fall into play. It was a typically muggy day in Auckland, but what's Rock 'n' Roll without a rash and a few spots in sensitive areas? In the end the video-shoot doubled as an opportunity for a handful of dedicated fans to become part of the Head Like A Hole Brethren; sharing sordid tales and various body odours (due to close proximity of the crowd shots). It amazes me what a crew can produce on a budget of $8000 and with limited resources – some would say “it's the Kiwi way” – but I say "it's all about the talent we've got!"
Watch this space; we've got more bashing and thrashing to come…
