'Silent Tears' is the debut single from Plymouth born-Raglan based singer/songwriter Lucy Cioffi who performs under the moniker, Little Lapin.

The single was recorded and produced by Ben King (Goldenhorse, Grand Rapids) and is a precursor to her forthcoming EP, due for release in the New Year.

Cioffi writes honest, heartfelt lyrics with an ethereal and wistful pop sensibility. She shares the same fondness for 80’s electronic new wave music as King, such as The Cure, Altered Images, Talking Heads and Modern English. Together they have created a dreamy and layered synth soundscape with doo-wop percussive elements.

Little Lapin recently won a competition to make a music video with Hamilton film company, Indiefilm who have created a lavish visual compliment to the single:

‘Silent Tears’ is available for purchase via CD Baby and iTunes.

The single and music video will be released on the 21st August with a release party and acoustic performance at Milk and Honey, Level 5, T & G Building, 149 Alexandra St, Hamilton from 5pm.
